Exploring the realities of youth employment, one scene at a time.

A space to reflect, question, and imagine new roles in the story of youth employment.

This section is part of the participatory journey of “You’re Fried!” — a legislative theater play created by and with young people, based on real experiences with education, job seeking, work, and family pressure. The scenes you’ll find here were written and performed by young people as a way to make visible the systemic challenges they face when navigating the world of employment.

Each post presents a single scene from the play — as it was written, with all characters and tensions preserved. After the scene is described, we ask: Who’s missing? What role could change the course of the story?
