¿Who is interested in making safer spaces?

This short survey seeks to identify the actors, roles, and capacities involved in creating and sustaining safe(r) spaces for participation. It supports the project’s Safe(r) Spaces Playbook by helping us understand who enables inclusive participation in practice, how responsibilities for care and safety are shared, and where future guidance and tools can have the greatest impact, particularly in digital and hybrid participatory contexts.

The Safe(r) Spaces Playbook is a practical guide being developed within the INSPIRE project to support the design, facilitation, and evaluation of inclusive civic and democratic participation. It aims to help organisers, facilitators, and institutions create digital and hybrid participatory spaces that reduce harm, make power visible, and foster meaningful engagement across difference.

We will be accepting answers until 18 February 2026.
