A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.

The Municipality of Budapest provides accommodation for people (and their families) who have recently lost their home (the address of the building is Kőbányai street 22, therefore we refer to the building as K22). Members of the Hungarian working group aim to strengthen intersectional inclusivity in that space, based on lived experience and perspective of the marginalized group of people living in the house together with a team of social workers and public officials employed by the municipality, researchers involved in the INSPIRE project.
Budapest Főváros Önkormányzata otthonukat elvesztett emberek (és családjaik) számára biztosít szállást a Kőbányai utca 22. szám alatti épületben (amit a projektben K22-ként emlegetünk). A magyarországi munkacsoport tagjainak célja, hogy a házban élő marginalizált csoport megélt tapasztalatai és perspektívája alapján nyitott és befogadó teret hozzon létre az épületben az önkormányzat által alkalmazott szociális munkásokból és köztisztviselőkből álló csapattal, valamint az INSPIRE projektben részt vevő kutatókkal együtt.
